Updates from Council President 3/23/20

Hello Wilmington,

On Sunday, March 22nd, 2020, Governor Carney issued a Stay at Home Order for Delawareans. All non-essential businesses are to close effective Tuesday March 24 at 8:00 AM. Wilmington is still open and operating in accordance with the Governor’s declaration, which allows us to continue providing essential services. Click here to view the latest message from the Mayor on City of Wilmington operations.

Our next virtual City Council meeting will be held Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 6:00 pm in which the Mayor will give his Budget Address. The full agenda and the link to the meeting are posted here.

To ensure the safety and well being of our staff and the public, Wilmington City Council employees continue to work remotely, with limited public access to essential staff.
