Wilmington Leaders Invite Community to Help Shape Gateway Mural for Wilmington 250 Celebration
Wilmington, DE – At-Large Councilman James Spadola is calling on residents across Wilmington to lend their voices to a transformative public art project that will welcome visitors into the City and celebrate its rich history.
As part of the upcoming Wilmington 250 celebration, community members are encouraged to complete the Concord Avenue/Miller Road Mural Community Survey, helping shape the vision for a new gateway mural located under Fulton Paper. This highly visible installation will reflect Wilmington’s legacy, culture, and community pride, and organizers want residents to share their thoughts in its creation.

“This mural is a reflection of who we are as a City,” said Councilman Spadola. “We want every resident to feel represented in this work which will be a multi-phase project. Your voice matters, and this is your opportunity to help shape something lasting for generations to come.”
Community members are also invited to attend an upcoming public meeting.
