Councilwoman Zanthia Oliver to Host Community Meeting with Delmarva Power at The Hope Commission

Wilmington, DE – 3rd District Councilwoman Zanthia Oliver is inviting residents to an important and impactful community meeting with Delmarva Power, focused on providing real help and real answers for Wilmington families.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 22, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at The Hope Commission, located at 38 Vandever Avenue in Wilmington, Delaware.

Together with Delmarva Power, Councilwoman Oliver will lead an open and honest discussion around three key topics:

  • Energy Education
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Delmarva Bill Support

“This isn’t just a meeting,” said Councilwoman Oliver. “It’s your opportunity to be heard and informed. It’s a space for neighbors to come together, ask questions, and receive direct help from Delmarva representatives who will be on-site to listen and assist.”

Residents are encouraged to bring their Delmarva Power bill and a valid ID to receive on-the-spot assistance with payment arrangements and available support programs.

This initiative comes on the heels of Councilwoman Oliver’s passionate address on March 12, 2025, at the Delaware Public Service Commission Meeting. She boldly challenged Delmarva Power’s proposed rate increases and urged leadership to ease the burden of rising supply and delivery costs affecting Wilmington households.
