A Day of Hope: Reach Gospel Radio and Councilwoman Zanthia Oliver Unite to Serve Wilmington’s Community
Join Councilwoman Zanthia Oliver and Pastor Steve Hare for the distribution of free blankets, clothing, and food on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12 noon at Prices Run Park.

Wilmington, DE – In the spirit of unity, love, and giving, 3rd District Councilwoman Zanthia Oliver and Reach Gospel Radio invite the Wilmington community to A Day of Hope, a heartfelt outreach event dedicated to providing free blankets, brand-new coats, clothing, and fresh groceries to those in need.  Members of the community are encouraged to arrive early as items will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Children’s books and coloring books will also be available.

Time: 12:00 PM (Duration: Until all items have been dispersed)

Location: Prices Run Park, 2313 N. Locust Street Wilmington, DE 19802

Cost: FREE


“This is what community is all about, coming together to lift each other up,” said 3rd District Councilwoman Zanthia Oliver. “It takes a village, and we are all part of that one big village. We need to come together as a family, as a community, and just have some fun and enjoy ourselves. So bring your family and friends, and let’s make this a day to remember.”

 

Pastor Steve Hare, Founder of the Reach Gospel Radio Network added, “Reach Gospel Radio Day of Hope community outreach is honored to partner with Councilwoman Zanthia Oliver for the purpose of lifting up our communities with hope and love on this weekend.”
