This Ordinance authorizes the City to enter into an amendment to Contract 20037FD (Towing & Impounding of Vehicles) (the “Contract”) between the City and City Towing Services LLC that provides for a one-year extension of the Contract from December 1, 2020 through November 30, 2021 with the same terms and conditions.

Synopsis:  This Resolution is being presented by the Administration for Council’s review and approval. This Resolution authorizes the Office of Emergency Management’s grant application to the Delaware Emergency Management Agency for 2020 Homeland Security Grant Program funds in the amount of $10,200.00. The funds will be used to upgrade the Mobile Command Unit’s existing analog video system to a system with digital capabilities.

The funds will be used to support the Office’s response to, and recovery from, the current COVID-19 pandemic.
