Councilwoman McCoy Invites Community to 4th Annual 6th District Town Hall
Residents of Bayard Square, Browntown, Canby Park, and Hedgeville are invited to attend on Tuesday, March 24th at 6 p.m. at the Claymore Senior Center.
WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington City Councilwoman Yolanda M. McCoy is inviting residents of Bayard Square, Browntown, Canby Park, and Hedgeville to gather for the 4th Annual 6th District Town Hall, taking place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Claymore Senior Center (504 S. Clayton Street, Wilmington, DE).
The town hall is designed to be a space where residents, city leaders, and community partners can share vital information, learn from one another, and strengthen communication across the district. By bringing people together in one room, the event helps ensure residents are aware of available programs, services, and resources while also giving city leaders an opportunity to hear directly from the community.
This year’s town hall will feature remarks from Wilmington Police Chief Wilfredo Campos, along with representatives from community organizations and city departments working to support residents and improve quality of life throughout Wilmington.
Attendees will learn about important city programs and services available to residents, including 311 assistance for seniors and families, neighborhood resources, and other initiatives designed to help residents access the support they need.
“This town hall is about sharing information and learning from each other,” said Councilwoman McCoy. “Residents deserve to know what resources are available to them, and city leadership needs to hear directly from the people we serve. When we come together, we create better understanding and stronger solutions for our neighborhoods.”
Residents are encouraged to bring their neighbors, family members, and friends and take part in this important community conversation.
