Council Member Yolanda McCoy to Host 6th District Hedgeville Community Block Party

Wilmington, DE – Residents of Wilmington’s 6th District are invited to attend a Community Block Party this Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 900 Elm Street, Wilmington, DE, 19805, hosted by 6th District Council Member Yolanda McCoy.

There will be free food, music, and activities served, fostering community connection as the block party gets started. This beloved neighborhood celebration is all about bringing our vibrant community together, and you’re invited!

Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs, so you can kick back and enjoy the festivities in comfort.

This event is free and open to the public. Come meet your neighbors, support local businesses, and celebrate the spirit of Hedgeville.
