Constituting Amendment No. 1 to the Fiscal Year 2014 Operating Budget, Being an Ordinance to Amend Substitute No. 1 to Ordinance No. 13-013 As Amended, the Ordinance Adopting the Annual Operating Budget for the Fiscal Year Beginning on July 1, 2013 and Ending on June 30, 2014
Synopsis: This Ordinance is being presented by Council for its review and approval. If approved, Council would be authorizing an additional $98,000 appropriation for the Fiscal Year 2014 General Operating Budget. According to the Administration, $80,000 of the additional appropriation would be used by the Finance Department to hire temporary workers to assist with the collection of revenue owed to the City, and $18,000 would be used by the Planning Department to hire a person with disabilities as a receptionist for the Department.
