Adopted
A Resolution respectfully urging the State of Delaware General Assembly to consider adopting a multi-period count day funding model for our state that will benefit our students, schools, districts and communities

Synopsis: This Resolution is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. If approved, Council would be asking the State of Delaware to adopt a new funding model that will benefit students, schools, districts and communities. The model would call for multi-period count to determine the number of students for state funding purposes as opposed to the current singular unit count.

Synopsis: This Ordinance is being presented by the Administration for City Council’s review and approval. If approved, Council would be authorizing certain revisions to Chapter 48 of the City Code related to floodplain management regulations in order for the City to continue to meet the Federal requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program.

If approved, Council would be authorizing “No Parking, Bus Stop Between Signs” signage on North DuPont Street at West 16th Street, North Walnut Street at East 8th Street and North Walnut Street at East 10th Street. If approved, Council would be authorizing traffic signage such as“All-Way Stop” signs on Baynard Boulevard and on North Orange Street; “Stop” signs on North Tatnall and on West 39th Street; “No Turn on Red” sign on West 7th Street; “No ParkingBetween Signs Anytime” signs on West 31st and on West 7th; “No Parking Child Drop Off” on North Van Buren Street; “No Parking Loading Zone” on North Pine Street; “Four-Hour Parking” on South Tatnall; “Two-Hour Parking” on North French Street; and “One-Hour Parking” on North Union Street.
