A Resolution Urging the Delaware General Assembly to Support Senate Bill No. 149 in the Form that it was Introduced to the Delaware General Assembly

Synopsis:  This Resolution is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. This Resolution urges the Delaware General Assembly to pass Senate Bill No. 149 (“SB149”) in the form that it was introduced to the Delaware General Assembly.  SB149, as introduced, enables any state agency, county or municipality to establish a community review board, and empowers such boards to hear and decide law-enforcement disciplinary matters, and issue subpoenas in connection with such proceedings.

An Ordinance to Approve an Agreement between the City of Wilmington and New Castle County Council Regarding LIVE Streaming of County Council Meetings

Synopsis:  This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval.  This Ordinance authorizes the execution of the multi-year agreement between the City of Wilmington and New Castle County Council for the livestreaming and broadcasting of County Council meetings  for the period from May 9, 2022 through May 8, 2023, at an estimated cost to New Castle County Council of twenty-seven thousand dollars ($27,000.00), with the possibility of two (2) automatic renewals of one (1) year thereafter with the same terms and conditions, at the option of the parties.
