An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 48 of the City Code to Require Applicants Appearing Before the Zoning Board of Adjustment or the Design Review and Preservation Commission to Notify Neighborhood Planning Councils and/or Civic Associations

Synopsis:         This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance requires applicants appearing before the Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Design Review and Preservation Commission to file affidavits with their applications that they notified the appropriate Civic Associations and/or Neighborhood Planning Councils which will be impacted by the proposed action.

An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 48 of the City Code to Require Applicants Seeking Building, Demolition, or Minor or Major Waterfront Development Permits to Notify Affected Council Members

Synopsis:         This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance amends Chapter 48 of the City Code by adding procedures wherein the Department of Land Use and Planning will provide copies of application for building permits, demolitions, minor waterfront developments, and major waterfront developments to City Council within ten (10) business days of receipt of any such application.

An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 2 of the City Code to Expand the Qualifications of Members of the Wilmington Community Police Accountability Board and Increase Compensation for Board Members

Synopsis        This Ordinance is being presented by City Council for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance amends Chapter 2 of the City Code to expand eligibility for members of the Community Police Accountability Board.  It also increases the amount paid to the Chair and Vice-Chair for attendance at meetings and compensates all voting members for attending training.

Synopsis:         This Ordinance is being presented by the Administration for Council’s review and approval. This Ordinance authorizes the City to exercise two (2) one-year extension options for Contract 26008PD “Police Clothing” with McDonald Uniforms Co., Inc.
